Aralia Data Planet Release Notes - 2025.11.25
Introduction
This release marks the official launch of Galaxy V1.0.0, establishing the mechanism for cross-planet data exploration and synchronization. We have also significantly enhanced the functional integrity and standardization of SDMX Data Import. Furthermore, we have optimized and fixed various aspects regarding Stellar and Portal login experiences, chart flexibility, and system performance, dedicated to providing a smoother data management and exploration experience.
Release Date: 2025.11.25
Modules Version:
- Stellar V1.0.9
- Data Planet V2.0.8
- Galaxy V1.0.0
New Features
Galaxy Data Exploration Network Infrastructure
- Galaxy Module Official Release (V1.0.0): Established Registry, Handshake, and Whitelist mechanisms between Stellar and Galaxy. The system now features automated data crawling and Snapshot update scheduling to periodically synchronize public dataset information across planets, laying the foundation for cross-planet data search.
SDMX Import History & File Augmentation
- Import History & File Addition: After importing SDMX datasets, a "History" query is now supported to easily trace past import settings. Users can also continue to add new files to existing SDMX datasets, making data maintenance more flexible.
- Codelist Standardization: Established internal planet standard code mechanisms (
dp_code) to standardize codes from different SDMX sources (like OECD, IMF, WorldBank, etc.) for common dimensions such as gender, area, frequency, and unit. This significantly improves cross-dataset analysis and integration capabilities.
Transplore Link Support for Standard Codes
- Standard Code Support: When creating Transplore links, added options based on standard codes (
dp_code), making it easier to associate fields defined identically across different sources.
Improvements & Enhancements
- Chart Composer Flexibility: In Data Exploration, dual Y-axis charts now support mixing Bar and Line charts, and a Stacked display option has been added, offering richer visualization analysis capabilities.
- SDMX UX Optimization:
- Added SDMX source identification icons and site names to homepage cards, data management lists, and Data Profiles to improve recognition.
- Optimized error messages for SDMX import flows to provide clearer guidance on time range errors or missing required parameters.
- Optimized Provider name display and dropdown behavior on the import screen.
- Performance Improvements:
- Implemented Stellar user info caching to reduce frequent queries to the authentication server (Keycloak), improving system response speed.
- Galaxy data transmission now supports Gzip compression and HTTP 304 caching, effectively saving bandwidth and speeding up synchronization.
