The highlight of this release is the brand-new Raw Data Download feature, giving authorized users the ability to download complete raw datasets directly. We've also resolved several issues related to data search and data management, continuing to improve system stability and data accuracy.

Raw Data Download
Users can now request a download of a dataset's raw data (CSV format) directly from the Dataset Profile page. Downloads are processed asynchronously; once ready, users can track progress and retrieve the file from the new Download Center in the top navigation bar.
Tiered Permission Management
Planet Admins can enable or disable the raw data download feature for their planet based on their License entitlement. Data Managers can configure "View" and "Download" permission scopes for individual or batch-selected datasets from the Data Management page, ensuring data access aligns with governance requirements.
Download Audit Log
Planet Admins can now query a complete record of download permission changes and download activity, including who performed the action, when, and the result — supporting data governance and audit compliance needs.
Fixed: Missing Administrative Area Variables in Search Index
Resolved an issue where administrative area variables (e.g., country, admin level) for some datasets were not properly synced to the search index. Queries involving administrative area fields via AI Teller or MCP now return correct results.
Fixed: Hidden Variable Setting Not Taking Effect
Resolved an issue where fields set to "hidden" in Data Management could still appear in the Dataset Profile, Data Exploration, or download results. Hidden settings are now correctly enforced, preventing unintended data exposure.
