What is Aralia MCP?

Aralia MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP)–compliant tool server.

When activated inside an MCP Host such as Claude Desktop, Aralia MCP enables the LLM to securely access Stellar and its connected Data Planets as a tool to automatically:

1. Discover relevant datasets
2. Parse fields and units
3. Determine query parameters (filters)
4. Execute queries and align time/geography
5. Generate source-based analytical insights

Installation Process

The example below uses Aralia One (one.araliadata.io).

If you are hosting your own Stellar instance, please create a Client ID / Secret there and replace one.araliadata.io with your own domain name.

Prerequisites

• A valid Client ID / Client Secret (see Prerequisite)
• Installed and running Docker Desktop
• Installed Claude Desktop (to act as the MCP Host)

Configure Local MCP in Claude Desktop

1. Ensure Docker Desktop is running (you can verify by executing docker ps in your Terminal).
