Aralia Data Planet is the core unit of Aralia's open data ecosystem, which can be regarded as a "data planet" owned and maintained by data providers.
Each Data Planet has the following characteristics:
- Encapsulation: The planet contains a set of interrelated datasets whose integrity, timeliness and accuracy are maintained by the data provider.
- Interactive Analysis (GUI): Provides a graphical interface that allows users to interact with data in a visual, step-by-step exploration and multi-variable analysis way, lowering the threshold of data analysis and realizing "Data for Everyone".
- Inter-Planet Interoperability (APIs): Supporting standardized APIs that enable interoperability between planets and with external applications, users can explore across datasets and domains without exchanging raw data through Transplore™.
📌 C ore Value
Data Planet is more than a data container; it is a node for exploration, discovery and knowledge collaboration. Users can do this within it:
- Data Profiling: Quickly understand data structure and field characteristics.
- Data Explore and Visualization: Use the UOEF (Unfold-Observe-Examine-Filter™) methodology to drill down into data and discover patterns and associations.
- Transplore™: Go beyond the limits of a single dataset and utilize the geographic variable "Admin Division" and other common keys for cross-platform and cross-domain analysis.
- Data Landmark: Store analytics as a reusable and shareable AI-ready reference point.
In summary, the Aralia Data Planet is a self-contained data node that combines "data packaging, discovery interfaces, and interoperable APIs" to elevate data from a mere repository to a data ecosystem component that can be explored, connected, and collaborated with.
